Hidden Gem Rock Shop emerged from a journey of healing and rediscovery. In 2020, founder Cody Cole experienced a heartbreaking divorce from his childhood sweetheart, who committed adultery with his best friend. Seeking solace and distraction from the pain, Cody embarked on a trip to Gatlinburg, TN. It was there, amidst the rolling Smoky Mountains, that he stumbled upon a pay-to-dig site and discovered his love for crystals.

For the first time since the betrayal, Cody felt a sense of peace and wonder as he unearthed these natural treasures. He became fascinated by the beauty, variety, and lore surrounding crystals and minerals, delving deep into their unique properties and potential for healing.

Driven by this newfound passion and a desire to share the magic of crystals with others, Cody founded Hidden Gem Rock Shop in 2020. What began as a personal journey of healing has transformed into a mission to help others discover the beauty, wonder, and potential of crystals.
